FUN DAY

Yesterday was another lovely day with bright sun and some very warm weather until a brief but sharp thunderstorm in the early afternoon. We did not do too much except run down to Rutland to book Ben a doggie spa morning for Friday and have a photo session with Pat at a local duck pond. Ben and I had been invited over to the old house for lunch by Nigel and Leta but it had become so hot I went alone and left Ben indoors with Pat and Walter.

It is a lovely thing to visit a home you knew and loved so well only to find that the new owners have changed almost nothing in 14 years and have maintained it to wonderful standards. The garden has matured beautifully and I shall say no more but present below a tableau of the day in pictures.
